How a mobile shop works in your gated complex or your office parking lot: the front gate, space, cleanup, what gets done without a lift, and how to book.
When you book on WhatsApp we confirm the technician's name, the plate of our branded van, and the time. With that you notify the front gate as you would for any authorized visitor. The technician signs in with his ID, just like a delivery driver, and goes straight to your parking space. In gated complexes in Zona Norte and in Bocagrande this is routine: we do it every week.
If your complex requires an authorization letter or asks for the name in advance, tell us when you book and we'll send you the details in writing.
Your usual parking space works, and so does a visitor spot or the street in front of the house: any flat surface will do. No power outlet or water needed. The technician arrives with the oil, the filters, the battery or the wiper blades, the tools, and the container for the used oil.
If the parking garage is underground, there just needs to be enough height to open the hood and room to kneel beside the car. In office parking lots with outside security, it's the same front-gate procedure.
You don't have to be there the whole time. Many customers leave the key at the front gate or only come down at the end to see the old filter and sign. If you'd rather be there, the technician explains what he's doing as he goes; if you'd rather stay in the office, we send you before-and-after photos on WhatsApp.
The question building managers ask us most. The oil is drained into a pan, transferred to a sealed container and leaves in the van. The technician puts protection on the floor under the engine and checks the space before leaving. The used oil is handed over to an authorized recycler: it doesn't go down the complex's drain or into the trash.
If the opposite ever happened in your complex with another service, ask us to talk it over with the building management before the first visit.
All the maintenance is done without a lift: oil and filter change, air and cabin filters, battery, lights, wiper blades, fluid level check, belts and hoses, battery terminal cleaning, tire pressure, and extinguisher. An oil change takes 30 to 45 minutes from the time the technician arrives.
What we don't do, and we say it up front: major engine, transmission, or bodywork repairs. That needs a shop with a lift and heavy tools, and it can't be done properly in a parking lot. If something like that shows up during the check, we tell you and we don't touch it.
Message us on WhatsApp with the make, model, and year, the complex's address, and the time that works for you. We confirm the fixed price before we head out, and the technician arrives at the agreed time. We work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; outside those hours there's special service paid in advance. You pay when the job is done, in cash or by bank transfer, and you see what gets replaced.
Checking terminals, cabin filter, wiper blades and fluid levels needs no lift and no workshop: it's done wherever you have the car parked, in Cartagena and nearby.
This guide describes LubriGo Del Caribe's own procedure (signing in at the front gate, working in the parking space, removing the used oil in a sealed container to an authorized recycler, scope without a lift, and hours). It cites no external figures. The times (30 to 45 minutes per oil change) are the same ones published on the services page.
