Mobile oil change in Bocagrande

In Bocagrande almost nobody has a street-level garage: the car sleeps in the basement of a building with a front gate, and taking it out to a shop means losing half a morning on Avenida San Martín. That's why the technician goes down to the basement. He arrives in the marked van, checks in at the front gate and works in your parking space.

From our base in Marbella, via Avenida Santander, it takes 15 to 25 minutes, approximately, depending on traffic. The mobile oil change starts at COP $180,000 with synthetic oil and filter, and travel within Cartagena is included.

How we work in Bocagrande's buildings

Before the visit we ask you for the building's name and your space number. You let the front gate know LubriGo is coming; the technician checks in with his ID and the van's plate, like any contractor. If your building management requires written authorization from the resident, we tell you what to put.

The work is done over a drain pan and an absorbent mat: the basement floor stays as it was, which is what the building manager wants to hear. The used oil leaves in the van and ends up at a licensed disposal facility. If your building doesn't allow work in the parking area, we arrange it on the street in front of the building or at our Marbella location.

What fails most by the sea

Bocagrande gets salty breeze from both sides, bay and open sea. The first place you notice it is the battery terminals, which get covered in a white crust until one day the car won't start in the basement. Cleaning and protecting them is part of preventive maintenance and takes minutes.

Second are the wiper blades: the sun on Carrera 1 cracks them in a few months and with the first downpour they scratch the glass. And the battery itself: in a hot basement with short trips —to the office in the Center and back— it never fully charges. If it's already shown warning signs, check out mobile battery replacement.

Landmarks: how far we go

The whole peninsula: from the Base Naval and the entrance via Avenida Santander, all of Avenida San Martín and Carrera 1, the Centro Comercial Bocagrande and Plaza Bocagrande, the buildings in Castillogrande up to the Club Naval, and El Laguito up to the Hilton.

We also serve offices, medical practices and hotels in the area: if the car is in a public parking lot while you work, tell us which one and we coordinate with the attendant. Check the Cartagena pico y placa before moving the car: often the restricted day is the best one for the oil change, because the car isn't going anywhere.
