Historic Center and Getsemaní
The walled Center and Getsemaní have a problem no other area has: there's nowhere to park. The streets are narrow, many are pedestrian-only, and work isn't allowed on public roads. Those who live or work here leave the car in a public parking lot, and that's where we come in: if the parking lot manager allows it, the technician does the change in your space.
From Marbella it takes 10 to 20 minutes, approximately, depending on traffic on Avenida Santander. If your parking lot doesn't allow work, you have two options: we arrange it in La Matuna or Chambacú, or you bring the car to our Marbella location. The oil change costs the same in any of those cases.
Approximate arrival

Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. · Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Outside those hours and on Sundays: special service, paid in advance.
Before booking we ask you for the parking lot's name and, if you can, the attendant's contact: we talk to them ourselves. We work over a drain pan and an absorbent mat, leaving no trace, and the used oil leaves in the van. That's what parking lots want to know before saying yes.
For offices, hotels and restaurants with their own parking or an agreement with one, the process is the same. And if you work in the Center but live in another neighborhood, the simplest thing is usually for us to come to your home: see the neighboring areas at the end of this page.
In the Center many cars barely move: people walk, and the car sits for days in a parking lot in the sun. That doesn't preserve it, it damages it differently. The battery drains without being started, and the oil ages with time even if the odometer doesn't move: humidity and heat degrade it all the same.
The salt air from the walls does the rest to terminals, connectors and exposed metal parts. If your car spends more time parked than driving, the change interval should be by months, not kilometers; in the oil guides by model we explain what each car's manual says.
The parking lots in La Matuna and on Avenida Venezuela, those at the Centro de Convenciones and on Avenida del Arsenal in Getsemaní, those around the Torre del Reloj and the Muelle de los Pegasos, Parque Centenario and the area around the Universidad de Cartagena.
Inside the walled city we only work in enclosed parking lots that allow it; never on the street. And check the pico y placa: the day the car can't go out is ideal for doing the change in the parking lot.
Only in an enclosed parking lot that allows it; work isn't allowed on the Center's public streets. Tell us which parking lot you leave the car in and we talk to the attendant. If they don't allow it, we arrange it in La Matuna or Chambacú, or you bring the car to the Marbella location.
Almost always, for us to come to your home: in your garage or your building's parking lot there's no one to ask for permission. Write to us with the address and we tell you the arrival time.
Yes. Oil ages with time, not just mileage: Cartagena's humidity and heat degrade it even if the car sits still. A car that drives little should change it by months, and it's worth checking the battery, which drains without being started.
Send us your car's make, model and year, plus the address. We confirm the price and arrival time before heading out.
