Manga
Manga is an island, and you feel it every time you have to leave: any shop is on the other side of the Puente Román or the Puente de Las Palmas, with the Bazurto traffic jam in between. The houses on Calle Real and Avenida Jiménez have their own garage, and the new buildings have a basement with a front gate: in both cases the technician works right there and you don't cross any bridge.
From Marbella it takes 10 to 20 minutes, approximately, depending on traffic at Pie del Cerro. If you don't know which viscosity your car needs, before writing to us you can check which oil your car takes by model and year, with the figure from the manual.

Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. · Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Outside those hours and on Sundays: special service, paid in advance.
A house with a garage is the simplest: you open up, the technician pulls the van in or leaves it out front, and works over the drain pan. In the buildings on Avenida Jiménez and along the bay, you let the front gate know and we use your space or a visitor space. The inner streets are narrow: the van parks where it's not in the way and the tools come on foot.
An oil change takes 30 to 45 minutes from the time the technician arrives. If you also want the preventive check —fluids, air and cabin filters, belts, hoses—, we tell you how long before starting and nothing gets replaced without your OK.
Manga is surrounded by the bay on all sides: the breeze comes loaded with salt and humidity and attacks exposed metal, starting with the battery terminals and connectors. If the car sleeps in a closed, hot garage, it's worse: heat speeds up corrosion and shortens the battery's life.
And then there's the traffic. Getting in and out of Manga via Bazurto or Pie del Cerro at rush hour means an engine running without moving: the oil works hours the odometer doesn't count. That's why in Manga it's best to change it by time and not just mileage, and to check the air filter, which the dust from the market clogs sooner than the manual says.
The whole island: Calle Real, Avenida Jiménez, the area around the Club de Pesca and the Fuerte del Pastelillo, the waterfront buildings toward the Sociedad Portuaria, and the inner streets up to the Puente de Las Palmas.
If you work at the port or in the offices at the entrance to Manga and the car stays in a parking lot, tell us which one and we coordinate with the attendant. We agree on the price over WhatsApp before heading out: see prices for what's included and what's charged separately.
Yes. It's the most common case in Manga: the technician arrives with oil, filter and tools, works over a drain pan and takes the used oil to a licensed disposal facility. Your garage is left as it was.
You let the front gate know, the technician checks in and works in your parking space or a visitor space. If the building management doesn't allow work in the basement, we do it on the street in front of the building.
