Turbaco grew with people who work in Cartagena and live in the gated complexes along the road: cars that drive the highway every day and that, when an oil change is due, lose a whole morning going down to a shop. That's why we also drive up to Turbaco, by appointment: the technician comes to your home or your complex's parking area and the change is done right there.
From Marbella it's 35 to 50 minutes, roughly and depending on traffic on the way out of Cartagena. Turbaco is outside Cartagena, so before heading out we confirm on WhatsApp the availability and whether a travel fee applies. The oil change itself starts at COP $180,000 with synthetic oil and filter.

Since it's a long drive, visits to Turbaco are scheduled in advance and we prefer the morning slot. If you have neighbors in the same complex who also need the service, let us know: grouping several visits on the same day makes the appointment and the coordination with the front gate easier.
We ask you for the exact address or the name of the complex and the tower. The technician arrives in the branded van, checks in with his ID and license plate, and works over a drain pan in your garage or in the visitors' parking area. Before messaging us, you can check which oil your car needs, with the figure from the manual, so the technician drives up with exactly what's needed.
A Turbaco car does highway driving daily: the main road there and back, with stretches of traffic jam at the entrance to Cartagena. That's a lot of kilometers a month and the change interval comes around fast; a car doing 2,000 or 3,000 kilometers a month can't wait a year for its oil.
Dust from the highway and from the roads of the new complexes clogs the air filter ahead of time, and Turbaco's afternoon heat, with the car parked in the sun, shortens battery life and cracks the wiper blades. Use the visit for the preventive check: fluid levels, filters, belts and hoses in the same trip.

Yes. You register the visit at the front gate, the technician arrives with his ID and the van's license plate and works in your spot or in the visitors' area over a drain pan. The used oil leaves in the van to a licensed waste handler.
